Community Guidelines

Last updated: 31 October 2026 · Closed-beta version
PassportSpark is for adults looking for real connections across borders. These guidelines describe what we expect from every member and how we respond when they are not followed.

Be yourself

  • Use your own recent photos and accurate profile details. Do not impersonate anyone or use someone else’s photos.
  • One person, one account. Complete photo verification with your own live selfie.
  • PassportSpark is for adults only. Report any profile you believe belongs to someone under 18.

Be respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats or violence.
  • No hate speech or discrimination, including on the basis of nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
  • No sexual or inappropriate content, and no unwanted sexual messages.
  • Respect a “no”, an unmatch or a block.

Keep it safe

  • Never ask other members for money, gifts, investments or financial details. Report anyone who asks you.
  • No spam, scams, advertising or commercial promotion.
  • Keep conversations on PassportSpark while you get to know someone. Our systems check messages, profile text and photos for contact details and may block or hide them.
  • Nothing illegal, including content that exploits anyone.

Safety advice

  • Take your time and get to know someone before sharing personal information.
  • Never send money to someone you have met online, whatever the reason given.
  • If you decide to meet in person, choose a public place, tell a friend your plans and arrange your own transport.
  • Verification adds confidence, but it cannot guarantee someone’s identity, intentions or behaviour. Trust your instincts.

Reporting and blocking

Use the menu on any profile or conversation to report or block a member. Reports are reviewed by the PassportSpark team. When you block someone, you stop seeing each other and can no longer message each other.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on what happened, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban an account, and take steps to stop banned members from returning. If you think a decision about your account is wrong, contact support@passportspark.com to ask for a human review.
